Alejandra spent her entire adolescence hating her hair… until she discovered curly hair blogs! It was 2006, in Colombia and she started implementing the tips and tricks from those ladies on the internet, the result? Her curls flourished, and her hair was no longer a frizzy mess, it was wavy. It was then that Alejandra became obsessed with the curly hair world. In 2017, Alejandra switched careers from science education to the beauty industry, specializing in curly hair. Her favorite part of this job is that it is more than hair; it's about identity, empowerment, healing childhood trauma, and building community. Alejandra is so excited about growing her client base in Kingston, the town she now calls home.

With a passion for hairstyling since 2012, Lexi brings over a decade of expertise to our salon. Specializing in Blonding services, she skillfully transforms hair into stunning shades of blonde, tailored to each client's unique vision. As a Certified Philocaly Flip-Up Extension Artist, Lexi offers innovative solutions to achieve desired hair goals, providing personalized services that exceed expectations. Cass, is a seasoned hairstylist, with over a decade of experience. Cass possesses a diverse skill set, adeptly handling clipper cutting and delivering exceptional blonding services. Her passion for scalp massages and blowouts adds an extra layer of expertise to her appointments. Cass thrives on creativity and variety, and she couldn’t imagine doing anything else. When she’s not at the salon, you’ll find her exploring Kingston’s scenic walking trails, spending time with family her nieces, and nephews and enjoys dabbling in a book.

With 5 years of experience and a heart full of passion for the art of hairstyling, Kris has had the privilege of working with clients from all walks of life. From sleek bobs to flowing locks, from vibrant rainbow hues to sophisticated, natural tones, Kris has mastered a wide range of styles and techniques, specializing in vivids. Outside the world of hairstyling, Kris is the proud parent to a vibrant 7-year-old daughter, who brings endless joy and inspiration into her life. During her cherished downtime, you'll find Kris wielding paintbrushes and immersing herself in art, all while cuddling up with her loving family and furry companions. From the Salon chair, to the managers chair Rebeccas passion for hair has taken her on an inspiring journey. Rebecca has been working in the industry for 12+ years with exceptional knowledge and passion for all things hair, beauty, and wellness.  She started her journey in the industry as a licenced hairstylist and over the years she has had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients. This experience has allowed her to develop a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of what it takes to create an exceptional salon experience.   As the salon manager of 6 + years her main goal is to ensure that every client who walks through our doors feels welcomed, valued, and pampered. She believes that each salon visit should be more than just about your hair- it should be an escape from the outer world, a moment of relaxation and self-care.  In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the salon, Rebecca helps to lead and support our team of talented stylists. She believes in fostering a positive and supportive work environment, where everyone feels included and empowered.   Outside of work Rebecca is a full-time wife and mom to Hudson and Harvey! They love spending their time outside, four wheeling, weekends at the cottage, boating, swimming or just spending time together relaxing!  Rebeccas goal as the salon manager at The Artistry Collective is to always create a salon experience that exceeds expectations and leaves clients feeling beautiful, confident and welcome.

Ricky, our seasoned hair stylist with over 25 years of experience, is more than just a master of scissors and blowouts. He’s a magician who turns ordinary hair into extraordinary art! Ricky’s chair isn’t just for hair; it’s a comedy club! He’ll have you giggling, snorting, and forgetting your worries. When he’s not wielding scissors, Ricky owns the local dance studio, where he grooves to the rhythm and teaches others to do the same. Specializing in foilayage, lived-in colours, flowy haircuts, textured bobs, bouncy blowouts and clipper cuts, she loves creating customized looks that blend edgy with classic vibes. Known for her vibrant, "naturally unnatural" shades, she's passionate about bringing out your inner confidence and making you feel amazing. Clients affectionately call her their trusted hair fairy godmother and she's all about laughter and friendships. When she's not in the salon, you can catch her binge-watching reality TV, biking by the water or enjoying all kinds of delicious food.
